Does an open date guarantee my appointment? No. Calendar availability does not confirm a booking on its own. Your appointment is confirmed only after Bhavana reviews your location, ready-by time, requested services and schedule, and your booking deposit has been received. An open date does not necessarily mean every time on that date works.

Your Ready-By Time Matters
Send the time you need to be completely ready, not only your ceremony or event start time. This helps Bhavana work backwards and determine whether the appointment fits the day's schedule.
For example, if your ceremony begins at 10:00 AM but you need to leave at 9:00 AM, your booking needs to be planned around the earlier ready-by time. Use the BHMU Wedding Makeup Timeline Calculator to work out your start time.

BHMU serves South Asian weddings where early start times are common. If you have an early ceremony, check your date as early as possible. BHMU accepts early morning appointments, including appointments that begin before 7:00 AM, though early morning availability is not guaranteed.
Early Morning Fee
An additional $29 early morning fee applies when the appointment begins before 7:00 AM.
Plan From Your Ready-By Time

Group Booking Availability
Getting ready with your mother, sisters, bridesmaids or family members? Include everyone in your first enquiry so BHMU can determine whether all requested services can fit before your ready-by time. Please provide:

- •Number needing saree draping
- •Final ready-by time
Do Not Add Group Services at the Last Minute
Additional services depend on the time available. If several people need to get ready, include them when you first enquire rather than waiting until the event date.

GTA Travel Pricing
GTA travel is complimentary for bookings with a service subtotal of $149 or more. A flat $15 GTA travel fee applies to bookings below $149. Travel outside the GTA is quoted separately.

The calendar shows current availability, but a slot is never treated as reserved until these steps are complete.

How do I check if BHMU is available for my date?
Check the availability calendar above, then send your event date, location, ready-by time, requested services and number of people.
Does an available date mean my booking is confirmed?
No. Availability shown on the calendar does not reserve an appointment. Bhavana needs to confirm your timing and services, and your booking requirements, including the deposit, must be completed.
How early should I book a bridal makeup artist?
There is no single booking window that works for every wedding date. If you know your wedding date and ready-by time, checking availability earlier gives you more scheduling options.
Can I book an early morning appointment?
Yes, depending on availability. A $29 early morning fee applies when the appointment begins before 7:00 AM.
Can I check availability for makeup only?
Yes. Makeup, hairstyling and saree draping can be booked individually.
Can I book several people?
Yes, depending on the services requested and your ready-by time. Include the full number of people in your enquiry.
